PrimaveraReader is a reader for Oracle® Primavera P6 schedules which allows users to open and view project data exported from Oracle® Primavera P6 in XER or XLS file format. PrimaveraReader is designed to deliver the well-known view of project information among all parties involved.
Project Schedulers can export project data from Oracle® Primavera P6 in .xer or .xls file formats and share it with their team. In order to view the project information, team members need PrimaveraReader to open xer and xls files and visually display the schedule progress over time.
In PrimaveraReader, project participants such as team leads, team members, contractors and subcontractors can gain complete view of the project progress, by using the native views:
- WBS – Work Breakdown Structure;
- Projects – which represents the Enterprise Project Structure (EPS);
- Resources – view the resource structure and get details;
- Assignments – view resource cost and quantity information in spreadsheet;
- OBS – Organizational Breakdown Structure;
- Roles – view the roles assigned to resources;
- Details – view of selected items in current view.
All project information given in a particular table view and the corresponding graphical Gantt chart view are based on the assigned Calendar. Users can use one of the standard layouts to group and sort data as they have the need. Also, project stakeholders can gain accurate insights into the project progress by having all calculations for dates, duration and resource assignments on each level of the project based on a specific calendar assigned to them. Users can see the details for global, project or resources calendars and apply different layouts to group, sort and organize data for better decision making.
