Last weekend, from October 12 to 14, 2012 in Prilep, Macedonia, an Ultra Trail race was successfully organized in three mountain (trail) runs: 18, 33 and 60 km, where Seavus people took part and achieved excellent results

The whole event entitled Krali Marko Ultra Trail (KMUT) serves as celebration and promotion of mountain running, having held mountain run at a distance of 60 km for the first time in Macedonia. On the two day event there were 72 contestants, men and women, coming from Macedonia and 6 other countries including USA, Italy, Australia, Serbia, Sweden and Poland. In addition to the trail races, a 1.75km race was organized in downtown Prilep for children from primary schools designed to promote running among the youngest.

Seavus, as one of the sponsors of this sport event, supported it by giving valuable prizes to the winners of the races.

Moreover two of our colleagues took part in the races achieving excellent results! Jordan Atanasovski ventured in the 18km long race known as Krali Marko Trail and won the bronze medal with a superb time of 1 hour 44 minutes and 16 seconds. Gjore Gjorgiveski took the 4th place on the exhausting, up-and-down 60km long Ultra Trail Race, completing the whole route in 9 hours 59 minutes and 45 seconds. We took the time to make a short interview with the both of them about their remarkable results and great experiences. Here’s what they had to share about the whole event.

We congratulate our brave colleagues!
