The last four days in Barcelona were marked by technology innovations, new mobile devices, and new trends and challenges in the telecom industry
Mobile World Congress is the world’s number one event in the mobile industry gathering in one place leaders from the telecom industry, the mobile devices manufacturing industry and developers of applications and operating systems. Through promotions, conferences, seminars and various events, latest smartphones and tablet computers were presented, future trends of development were set, new visions and perspectives in the telecom industry were established. Each year this event is increasingly dominated by the importance of technology in developing the so called “networked society”.
This year Seavus was part of the congress as an exhibitor. We had Crystal Qube™, a customer experience management platform for telecom operators, in the central place of our promotion. Moreover, this solution was launched at the very opening of the event.
“The greatest attention grabbers for visitors and media were the new models of smartphones and tablet computers”, says Branka Bugariska, Marketing Manager at Seavus. “At the Congress the most talked about was the new line of Lumia smartphones from Nokia, especially PureView 808 with camera of 41 megapixels. There was no less hype about the new One portfolio of smartphones from HTC, which includes 3 new devices that run on Android OS 4.0, as well as new phones from Huawei, LG and Samsung”, adds Bugariska.
Seavus in Barcelona closely monitored the talks that analyzed current trends in the mobile world, centered on the future directions of development. Some of the most exciting presentations at the congress were those of Bill Ford (Ford), Eric Schmidt (Google) and Hans Vestberg (Ericsson).
“The impressions from the Mobile World Congress are still fresh. The expectations we had about visits on our stand and demo presentations held were fulfilled. We are especially excited about the interest for our new solution Crystal Qube™, which was launched exactly here at the Mobile World Congress 2012 in Barcelona. In short, Barcelona was a really great start for Crystal Qube™”, concludes Bugariska, adding that they already started with the preparations for the next year’s show.
