Read this interview with Dejan Talevski, Senior Project Manager at Telecom division and one of the speakers at our Telco event in Stockholm on November 16th.
The growing need for telecommunication services has been particularly perceived during the Covid-19 pandemic, currently they are considered essential in all public and private domains i.e., (smart) homes, schools, offices, data centers, hospitals, industries, etc.
Over the past few years the telecommunication industry has been facing major challenges and profound transformations. The demand of traditional connectivity services along with data traffic and speed is growing exponentially, increasing the investments and operational costs, while the revenues of telecom operators/ Communication Service Providers (CSP’s) are failing to follow up with the growing trends.
In recent years, the number of cellular networks users has increased dramatically. At the end of last year, there were over five billion unique mobile subscribers around the globe. By the end of 2021, the volume of cellular data traffic produced by mobile devices rose ~ 50% (annual growth rate).
Humans have been known for adaptability and continuous strive for technological improvements as far as history remembers (or in other words since we invented the wheel). Ever since we started living in social communities, one of the trends in our everchanging lifestyle has been the need for communication and connectivity. In that sense digital mobile communication systems have been constantly evolving to fulfil the growing need of human beings (1G, …4G, now 5G, 6G in the next decade…).
Dejan Talevski, a Senior Project Manager at Seavus’ Telecom Division, explains what kinds of risk Telcos are facing due to the outdated technologies, why they can be an obstacle to the process of digital transformation and what the main benefits of migrating Telco’s legacy systems are.
Darko Dimitrievski, Senior Project Manager in Telecom division talks about the changes in the process of digitalization in the last year and where it is heading in the future, the flexible and agile internal business processes as an important factor in the digital transformation, and 5G.
Companies in the telecommunication industry offer products and solutions at the technological forefront – but the organization's internal processes can often be old-fashioned, manual and silo oriented. The IT company Seavus can help them become more effective. – The digital transformation needs more than just replacing old systems with new ones. You also have to change your internal processes. That's when we see extensive improvements in earnings, says Tomche Hristovski, Manager at Seavus' Telecommunications Division.
In this interview with Tomche Hristovski, Division Manager at Seavus’ Telco Division, we talked about the latest industry trends, the IT community in Belarus, the importance of having an unbeatable team, and how there’s no better way to celebrate a company’s anniversary than with a new client.
