With experience in working with clients from different industries, including pharmaceuticals, banking and finance, IT, public and government departments, logistics, and automotive, in this interview he discusses the benefits of having the support of a versatile, flexible and capable of automation tool, such as the Atlassian stack.
The main focus will be the ease of integrating your entire business and processes into the Atlassian stack. As the complete stack is so versatile, flexible and capable of automation, there is not a single part of a business that cannot benefit from its usage. I will talk about the problems that could occur during a development cycle and how you can overcome those obstacles by using the Atlassian stack.
Well, this will be discussed thoroughly during the seminars, but in short, the ease of collaboration, simplicity of usage, automation and a very good overview of the processes can help you achieve your goals faster than before. The developers I work with often use the phrase “Atlassian Ecosystem” as they do not need to deviate from the stack in order to work on their code, report and collaborate on their tasks. All tools in the stack are interconnected in some way and users always have all the info they need on one screen, which saves time and helps them to help each other and work together. I will be showing some simple use case scenarios of how an idea can grow into a realized solution.
The current trend of most of the companies is to go “Agile”. There is no better tool stack to provide this transition than the Atlassian stack. I have worked with companies ranging from pharmaceuticals, banking and finance, IT, public and government departments, logistics, automotive and various other industries and I have yet to find one that has not benefited from the Atlassian stack. Jira alone can transfer all departments of a single company into an Agile company and provide ease for integrating Lean management. The possibilities are endless.
At the start of my career, I was actively using Outlook, Excel, Word and other common tools to collaborate, share and discuss all my daily activities. These tools are still great, but they tend to be time-consuming, and currently, where time and communication is everything, businesses need better solutions to save that time and, with it, money. Automation is key in modern businesses and development cycles. The Atlassian stack is capable of various automations that were thought impossible a few years ago. You can easily create tickets from Confluence plans with one click, you can automate your workflow based on predefined conditions, you can set up automated tests for your code and that is just the tip of the iceberg of capabilities the stack offers.
Igor Totić will further discuss the benefits and the advantages of the Atlassian CI/CD stack on two seminars Seavus is organizing this March.
On March 17th an afterwork seminar will take place in our offices in Stockholm, and on March 19th a lunch seminar will be held at Bricks Eatery in Lund, Sweden.
