Seavus is privileged to announce it has opened a new division for energy as a result of its new partnership with Israel Electric Corporation (IEC).
As active participant in an ever-changing society and ever-evolving marketplaces, based on technology and innovation, in alignment to company’s Core value – acquire, share and deliver knowledge to ‘Anyone, Anywhere, Anytime’, Seavus is continuously dedicated to developing its network of both Technology and Solution partners.
Israel Electric Corporation is the sole integrated electric utility in the State of Israel and generates, transmits and distributes substantially all the electricity used in the State of Israel. The Company is one of the largest industrial companies in Israel. For 2007, the Company had total revenues of U.S $5 billion and total assets of U.S. $17.9 billion. The Company maintains and operates 17 power stations sites (including 5 sites for steam driven power stations) with an aggregate installed generating capacity of 11,323 MW. To meet projected future electricity demand, the Company’s capital investment program provides for the addition of 1,847 MW of installed capacity by the end of 2011. The company is required by its licenses to allow independent power producers to use the company’s transmission and distribution network and to provide a back-up source of supply to customers of independent power producers for the combined capacity of 2,300.15 MW representing about 20% of Israel’s installed generating capacity.
The partnership between Seavus and IEC would be based on the IEC’s strategic ICT products and services, such as:
- Customer management, billing and metering systems
- Command and control systems for electricity supply chain
- Energy theft detections and analysis systems
