The donation to FEIT enhances the development of specific IT resources in Macedonia
The Laboratory of Electronics at the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology in Skopje, Macedonia (FEIT) was enriched today with computer systems to perform laboratory exercises, donated by Seavus. The ten new computer systems will be contributed to the laboratories of the Faculty which are now fully equipped with enough workstations for efficient practical work.
“These students deserve an advanced education. They belong to a generation which is a promoter of technological development, which is important for any society”, says Blagoj Kupev, Manager of Seavus Embedded Division.
“This donation represents only a part of the overall, long-term cooperation between Seavus and the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology in Skopje. Our goal is to provide support and opportunities to the students, and beside theoretical knowledge to get more practical work, working on projects and by implementing new methods, which will certainly bring them great benefits in the future”, says Kupev.
As they say on the faculty, the cooperation with Seavus is very important and significant, and a great benefit not only for the individual students but for the faculty in general, due to the great achievements of Seavus, which, on the other hand, openly allow students to actively engage in their projects.
“The cooperation with Seavus brings the Faculty great benefits. This is their second donation to our laboratory. Beside the donations, they consistently invest in improving the curriculum, practical work and mentorship by company’s senior staff”, says Prof. Dr. Mile Stankovski, Dean of the Faculty.
Seavus and the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technologies so far have worked on a number of joint projects. The company traditionally organizes summer practice in cooperation with technical colleges, and provides employment for the best staff.
