Seavus Nish received a recognition for supporting the first “Parental House” in Nish

“Parental House” is a humanitarian project organized by NURDOR (National Association of Parents of Children with Cancer) that offers free accommodation and medical care to children suffering from cancer who are on hospital treatment and reside outside the city of Nish, Serbia.

The “Parental House” is now open and ready to help children with cancer and their families, and Seavus was one of the first companies to support this project with a donation.

One of the aims of the project is to lower the cost burden of families and offer them a nice and warm place to call home, equipped with all the essential amenities they need during the child’s treatment.

The whole project lasted for 2 and a half months and involved complete renovation and equipment of the old facility. Seavus supported the project at its early beginning, donating computers, mobile phones and financial aid, as part of our efforts to help these little heroes who fight for a happy childhood.

For the given support, Seavus received recognition for helping the “Parental house” project on the day of the official opening. The recognition was presented to our colleague Sasha Todorovic, by NURDOR’s president Todor Mancic.

“It was an honor to be part of this project and take acknowledgements on behalf of Seavus”, said Sasha Todorovic, project lead at Seavus’ Development and Resourcing hub in Nish. “I am very proud of this action, and knowing that we made at least one child feel better makes me the happiest person in the whole world”, concluded Sasha.
The facility will serve as a good basis of psychological and social support, playing an important role in the healing process of the child. Currently the complex is projected to accommodate six families.

Seavus will continue to support humanitarian events and causes that improve the living standard of the people in every country that our company operates in. We believe that these examples will encourage other companies to help noble causes and promote corporate social responsibility.
